Property-based KTC Arkz Group Sdn. Bhd. today signed a memorandum of collaboration with Huawei Technologies Malaysia which will lead towards developing a smart city concept in Malaysia.

Memphes Chong, a CPO of KTC Group, said with the MOC, KTC would be able to tap into the backbone of Huawei Cloud to provide Cloud-based digital solutions to provide better tech-based facilities to working professionals, business owners, investors and the academia.

KTC Group CEO Chong Khin Thin signed on behalf of his company while Huawei was represented by its Vice President (Cloud & AI) Lim Chee Siong at the signing of the MOC.

In a briefing prior to the signing, Memphes said the MOC would enable for the signatories to jointly develop and implement various cloud-based digital solutions for state-of- the-art services and experiences so that a leading-edge technology ecosystem for new and existing residents as well as for potential business investors at few state.

KTC plans to create an exciting lifestyle that will cater to Generations Y and Z where the high-rise development will provide a conducive eco-system for automotive futuristic tech research institutions, digital applications, shopping platforms, entertainment research by universities and colleges in the vicinity.

Memphes said KTC decided to employ Cloud technology as it could open up a wealth of new experience and knowledge for users as it was important for industries to become more efficient by digitalising their business operations.
